Next, students are introduced to PPF design software and plotter systems, which are critical for precision installations. Our training covers pattern selection, scaling, and adjustments for different vehicles, as well as plotter setup, blade depth, and material handling techniques. You’ll discover how accurate pattern cutting reduces wasted film and ensures a flawless fit, helping you build efficiency and profitability in your PPF business.

Tools of the Trade & Surface Preparation

No PPF installation is complete without the right tools and proper prep work. On Day 1, we’ll show you how to use squeegees, application solutions, and other installation essentials for best results. You’ll also gain hands-on experience in surface preparation, learning how to properly clean, clay, and decontaminate panels so that film adheres smoothly and securely. This critical step ensures that your installs look professional and last for years, giving your customers peace of mind.

Hands-On Beginner PPF Installation Training

The afternoon session of Day 1 is where theory meets practice. You’ll start your hands-on PPF installation training by working on flat panels such as hoods and fenders. This beginner-friendly approach allows you to practice aligning film, controlling slip solutions, and applying even squeegee pressure under the guidance of expert instructors. By the end of the first day, you’ll have a strong grasp of the basics and be ready to tackle more advanced wrapping techniques on Day 2.
