Lake Country System 4000 Pad Washer
-
The Lake Country System 4000 Pad Washer cleans pads without recycling their own filth. Fresh solution reaches the pad on every press of the wash plate, the contaminated water drains off separately into a removable catch basin, and the pad comes out cutting like a clean pad instead of a wet dirty one. It runs with most pad and polisher combinations, gives you a clean pad mid-job in moments, and its water-sparing design suits any shop where contamination control is non-negotiable.
A loaded pad stops cutting, glazes over, and smears product and heat across the panel, a common cause of hazing, hologramming, and inconsistent gloss. A pad washer flushes that contamination out mid-job so the pad bites like a fresh one, instead of you swapping pads every panel or two.

- Fill and dose. Add clean water to the level you want, then mix in Clean All Towel and Pad Cleaner or Lake Country's Snappy Clean pad cleaning powder.
- Insert the dirty pad still attached to the polisher. Run the machine at a very low speed and press down repeatedly on the wash plate; each press drives the pump and pulls cleaning solution up from the bottom of the pail into the pad.
- Agitate to your taste. The polisher itself scrubs the pad, and how often you press controls how much solution the pad takes in.
- Let the basin do the dirty work. Contaminated solution drains into the catch basin, which you empty whenever it fills.
- Spin dry. Nudge the speed up slightly and spin the pad dry inside the unit to finish the cycle.
-
- Works with the polisher you already run. Random orbital, DA, or rotary, with wool and foam pads from 3" to 7".
- Pure Flo Technology. The System 4000 is the first self-contained pad washer that separates fresh solution from spent solution, so the pad rinses in clean chemistry instead of recycling its own dirt.
- You control the flow. A positive displacement pump feeds solution only when you press, and the polisher's own power does the agitating.
- Light on water. A full cycle uses 1.6 gallons, about half of what other pad washers consume.
- Beyond pads. Bonnets, applicators, and wash mitts clean up in it too.
- Patented. U.S. Patent #8,893,734, with additional international patents.

Clean polishing pads mid-job by flushing the loaded compound and residue out of the fibers before they cake. With the System 4000, you dip the pad on the polisher, run it slow while pressing the wash plate to draw in fresh solution, agitate, then spin-dry.
-
A pad washer is a device that cleans foam and wool buffing pads between panels so they keep cutting. The System 4000 pumps fresh solution into the pad while draining contaminated water into a separate catch basin, using the polisher's own spin to agitate and dry.
-
Some pads can go in a washing machine to deep-clean after a job, but that does nothing for a pad loading up mid-correction. A pad washer like the System 4000 cleans and spin-dries the pad on the polisher in seconds, so it keeps cutting through a whole car.

Detailers keep pads clean between panels by rinsing them in a pad washer instead of swapping to a fresh pad each section. On the System 4000, you dip the pad, run the polisher slow to pump in fresh solution and agitate, then spin it dry. That restores the pad's cut in seconds.
