***PREORDER*** MYTEE LITE III 8070 Heated Carpet Extractor ***1-Week Lead Time***
-
The Mytee LITE III 8070 is a 120 PSI heated carpet extractor built for mobile detailers and single-operator detail shops: shop-grade hot-water extraction in a unit one person can lift into a van. The 4-gallon tank typically handles a full vehicle interior without a mid-job refill, which is what makes it the workhorse interior extractor for mobile detailing rigs.
Highlight specs:
- 120 PSI diaphragm pump
- 1,000-watt in-line heater
- 210°F maximum water temperature
- 100 CFM 3-stage peripheral vacuum motor
- 4-gallon solution tank
- 45 lbs total weight
The machine sprays 210°F water into carpet and upholstery to dissolve residue cold-water extractors leave behind. The 100 CFM vacuum pulls everything back out.
Built for daily route work, the Lite III combines a roto-molded poly housing, lift-off vacuum tank, easy-empty drains, 6” wheels with 2” locking casters, and a 25-foot lighted 12/3 cord. Mytee backs it with a 5-year body warranty plus a 2-year warranty on the pump, vacuum, and heater, supported by a national service-center network. For higher-volume shops, the Mytee HP90 Stingray and HP120 Grand Prix are the step-up rigs.
Detail King also stocks the full Mytee-Lite accessory and chemical lineup: wands, crevice tools, upholstery tools, system maintainer, and the bundled Chemical & Maintenance Deluxe Kit so you can spec out a complete interior-extraction rig from one order.
Please Note: At this time Mytee Products is not including an owner’s manual with the new Mytee 8070 and are recommending that it be downloaded from their web site. If you are unable to do that we can provide you with a hard copy, just request it when placing your order with Detail King.

Workflow Fit
The 8070 is sized for a single-operator interior detail. For heavy-soil work (service vehicles, smoker vehicles, pet cleanup), pre-treat with a dedicated extractor soap, let the chemical dwell, agitate with a brush, then extract with hot water.
For production-line detail shops running back-to-back interiors all day, the larger Mytee HP120 Grand Prix is worth the step up for its larger tanks and dual heater system. The 8070 is built for single-operator mobile rigs and small detail shops where portability and tank-per-vehicle workflow matter more than maximum daily throughput.

Performance
The third-generation rebuild upgrades the three components that matter for route economics. The improved 3-stage vacuum motor recovers more soiled water per pass, so carpets leave damp instead of soaked: drier handover, no mold risk, faster turnaround. The 1,000-watt in-line heater holds 210°F under continuous draw to dissolve dried grease, dairy residue, and biological matter cold-water extractors leave behind. The 120 PSI diaphragm pump pushes hot solution into seat foam and headliner backing, not just across the surface.
Convenience
At hour eight of a 10-hour route day, ergonomic decisions stop being theoretical. The Mytee 8070 addresses four of them. The 15-foot integrated vacuum-and-solution hose combo reaches an entire interior without coiling the machine between seats. The redesigned handle includes deeper storage baskets and overhead hose hangers, so your chemicals stay organized as you work. Dual-source fill (bucket or faucet) lets you refill from a customer's tap or your transport rig without adapters. Easy-empty tank drains cut setup and breakdown time.
Safety
Mobile extractors fail in predictable ways: uneven terrain, dead customer outlets, water intrusion. The 8070 addresses each at the engineering level. Six-inch wheels with 2-inch locking front casters keep the machine stable on driveways, gravel, and slight grades. The 25-foot lighted 12/3 power cord has a glow-tip indicator that confirms the outlet is live before you draw load, catching dead GFCIs and weak circuits before you trip a breaker mid-job. Waterproof switches resist dust and incidental spray that would otherwise damage exposed electronics.

No. Tap water is fine, and it is what most detailers run day to day. Distilled water is the better choice if you want to slow mineral build-up in the lines, but the machine does not require it.
-
An extractor sprays hot water into carpet or upholstery and immediately vacuums it back out, which is what deep cleaning requires. A vapor steamer boils water and releases steam, making it a surface-cleaning tool for a wide range of materials rather than a deep-cleaning one.
-
We recommend against it, though the machine allows it. With chemical in the tank, every trigger pull lays down more soap and nothing ever rinses it out; soap left in carpet dries stiff, feels sticky, and attracts dirt faster. Run plain water in the tank and apply soap to the carpet or upholstery from a spray bottle instead: everything rinses out and the finished result looks far more professional. Running chemical through the machine also means flushing it with a descaling solution like our Extractor Maintainer much more often.

A standard 120V / 20-amp household outlet. The 25-foot 12/3 power cord reaches most driveways, but if you're running off a customer's exterior outlet, verify it's on a dedicated circuit. The 1,000-watt heater, 120psi pump, and 3-stage vacuum motor running simultaneously draw 19 amps and can trip shared kitchen or garage circuits.

The 8070 is a single-operator, mobile-friendly machine (48 lbs, 4-gallon tanks). The S-300H is more geared towards an enthusiast to clean up spills as they arise or detailers needing to do touch-up work (1 gallon tank, smaller pump/heater/vacuum make this machine not an ideal choice for cleaning an entire vehicle). If you're running a mobile detail business or a small detail shop, the 8070 is right. If you're a car enthusiast or have a shop that sends operators out for touch-up work the S-300H could be a good solution.

Flush the system with clean water at the end of every day. Every 3-6 months, run a descaling solution through the machine. The pump is diaphragm-style and generally maintenance-free, but keep the inlet filter clean. If you've been running chemical through the machine instead of using a spray bottle, increase descaling frequency to every 1-3 months.
