The Mytee HP90 Stingray™ is a 120 PSI heated automotive detail extractor built for high-volume mobile detail rigs and shop-grade interior work, full-size cleaning performance in a compact, single-cord chassis that loads into a van without a second operator. The dual 5-gallon tanks (solution and recovery) give you enough fluid capacity to power through back-to-back interiors, fleet vehicles, and biohazard restoration jobs before a refill, which is where the Stingray earns its spot between the Mytee Lite III 8070 and the HP120 Grand Prix.

The HP90 sprays 210°F water from its 1,200W inline heater into carpet, upholstery, and seat foam to dissolve what cold-water extractors leave behind: vomit, pet urine, blood, coffee, smoke residue, and fleet grime. Do I need to use distilled water in this machine?

The Stingray does not require distilled water. Most detailers fill it straight from the tap; the benefit of distilled is simply slower mineral build-up in the lines over time.
What is the difference between a carpet extractor and a steamer?

They solve different jobs. A carpet extractor drives hot water into the fibers and vacuums it back up, so it deep cleans carpet and upholstery. A vapor steamer boils water into steam for surface-level cleaning across many different materials.
Should I put chemicals inside my extractor?

No, run plain water and apply soap separately with a spray bottle. Chemicals inside the machine mean you never rinse the soap out, so it dries stiff, gets sticky, and attracts dirt faster.
