  What “high-foaming carpet shampoo” means

  High-foaming carpet shampoo is a concentrated surfactant blend that thickens into dense suds when agitated, so the foam stays on top of the fiber long enough to encapsulate and lift dirt rather than soaking straight through into the foam padding. That matters in an automotive interior, where you cannot saturate carpet the way you can a residential rug: too much liquid soaks the underlayment, takes days to dry, and rusts the floor pan underneath. The suds do the lifting work, then a scrub brush brings the loosened grime to the surface where a towel or extractor wand can pull it off. For organic stains (vomit, urine, pet accidents), reach for the enzyme cleaner instead.

  • Break down dirt and lift it to the surface. The Carpet Cleaner and Upholstery Shampoo aggressively attacks dirt and grime, loosening contaminants from individual fibers. It brings dirt to the surface so it is easy to wipe off.
  • Heavy-duty cleaner for heavy-duty stains. High-traffic areas of your interior, especially carpets that receive frequent foot traffic, get ground-in stains that seem impossible to remove. The Carpet Cleaner and Upholstery Shampoo is thick and high-foaming so it can penetrate deep into your carpet.
  • Pre-scrub lifts contaminants ahead of the wand. Working the shampoo in before extraction loosens deep, heavy grime, so the extractor pulls it faster and finishes cleaner in fewer passes.
  • Hand-brush spot cleaning where an extractor is overkill. For moderate stains that do not warrant setting up a machine, agitating by hand clears them fast, and it works especially well on fabric seats.
  • The concentrated formula ensures your product will last. For cleaning carpet in the front seats, you only need a silver dollar-sized amount of Carpet Cleaner at a time. This small amount of product creates an exorbitant amount of suds and foam to lather your carpet.
• For Best Results:
  1. Vacuum first, then spray the surface with water.
  2. Apply a silver-dollar-sized amount of the shampoo and work it in with our Carpet and Upholstery Scrub Brush.
  3. Do not let suds sit much past 30 seconds, or the dirt they lifted can settle back into the fibers. Wipe them up with a Terry Towel.
  4. Assess and repeat until the surface is clean.
  5. For heavy soil, bring in a polisher with a brush attachment: spray water, apply product, spread at low speed, then raise the speed for more cleaning power. Wipe and reassess.
  6. Extracting afterward? Wipe off all suds first and add defoamer to the extractor to be safe.
