P&S 3-Step Carpet Cleaning System
-
The P&S 3-Step Carpet Cleaning System (P&S Ultimate Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Kit) is a three-product bundle that pairs a targeted pre-treatment, a deep cleaner, and a finishing peroxide treatment so detailers can attack carpet, upholstery, and fabric stains in stages instead of relying on one all-purpose spray.
What’s in the bundle:
- P&S Carpet Bomber: high-powered cleaner that lifts dirt and stains from deep within fibers
- P&S Terminator: enzyme-based pre-treatment that breaks down organic stains like grease, oil, and food spills
- P&S Finisher Peroxide: final-step treatment that neutralizes residues and eliminates odors
- Safe for automotive carpet, upholstery, and fabric surfaces
- Positioned for professional detailers and enthusiasts running full interior cleans
Who this is for
- Detail shops running paid interior packages where carpet and upholstery cleaning is the headline service
- Mobile detailers who want a complete bundle on the van instead of three separate single-purpose chemicals from different brands
- Enthusiasts doing a full interior reset on a personal or project vehicle and want a kit that covers pre-treat, cleaning, and odor finishing in one purchase
The P&S 3-Step splits the work across three products: Terminator is the enzyme-based pre-treatment that breaks down organic stains like grease, oil, and food spills before any cleaning happens, so when Carpet Bomber follows it has loosened material to extract instead of intact stain. Finisher Peroxide then neutralizes residues and eliminates the odors a wet carpet often re-releases as it dries. For routine maintenance cleans, the single-product Automotive Carpet Cleaner & Upholstery Shampoo is faster.
When to choose the 3-step bundle (and when not to)
- Yes, use the 3-step bundle: set-in food and grease stains, biological residue with odor, smoker vehicle interior reset, reconditioning a used car or trade-in, full interior detail where odor control matters
- Yes, but the bundle is overkill: routine maintenance vacuum + light spot clean (a single carpet cleaner is faster and cheaper)
- No, reach for a dedicated product: heavy biohazard work like vomit, urine, or blood (use Bio-Zyme Enzyme Cleaner, which is a bacterial enzyme concentrate built specifically for that contamination class)
Application Order
- Start with P&S Terminator on visible stains and high-soil zones (driver footwell, child seat area, cup holder spill zones). It pre-treats organic stains, grease, oil, and food spills so the cleaning step has loosened material to extract.
- Follow with P&S Carpet Bomber across the full carpet and upholstery surface to lift dirt and stains from deep within the fibers. Agitate with a carpet brush on soiled zones, then extract or towel.
- Finish with P&S Finisher Peroxide to neutralize residues and eliminate odors. This is the step that prevents wet-carpet smell as the interior dries.
*Refer to each individual product’s label for specific dilution ratios, dwell times, and any surface-specific warnings before use.

Product: What it does
P&S Terminator: Step 1: pre-treats grease, oil, and food stains so the deep clean can lift them
P&S Carpet Bomber: Step 2: the deep-cleaning workhorse for the fibers themselves
P&S Finisher Peroxide: Step 3: neutralizes residue and knocks out leftover odors

For set-in stains and odors, yes. One all-purpose spray has to break down the stain, lift it, and deodorize all at once, and it underperforms on grease, food, and biological residue. This bundle splits that work across a pre-treat, a deep cleaner, and a finisher, which is why staged systems clean deeper.
-
Pre-treat the worst zones with Terminator to break down organic soil first. Then apply Carpet Bomber across the carpet, agitate with a brush, and extract or towel. Finish with Finisher Peroxide to neutralize residues and kill odor. The pre-treat step is what loosens ground-in dirt before the main cleaner runs.
-
If your cleaner handles routine maintenance but you regularly take in set-in stains, smoker interiors, or reconditioning jobs, the 3-step adds pre-treatment and finishing layers a single product lacks. For mostly light maintenance cleans, a single cleaner like the Automotive Carpet Cleaner & Upholstery Shampoo is faster and cheaper.
-
For best results, yes. Terminator goes first to pre-treat organic stains, Carpet Bomber second as the main cleaner, Finisher Peroxide third to neutralize residues and odor. Each is also a standalone P&S formula usable on its own, but skipping steps removes the reason to buy a staged system.
-
Yes. Pre-treat targeted zones with Terminator, apply Carpet Bomber across the carpet, agitate, and extract. Use Finisher Peroxide as the final step per its label. Check each product label for recommended use with extraction equipment and your extractor manual for chemical compatibility.
