• Description

  The MTM Hydro PF22.2 Professional Foam Cannon, the current model in the MTM series, is a water-pressurized foam cannon that lays high-foaming car wash soap over a vehicle quickly and efficiently.

  Optional add-ons: the MTM Hydro Easy Hold Spray Gun w/ QC Male Plug & Quick Coupler and the KobraJet Smooth Blue 50’ 4,000 PSI hose round out the setup.

• Features & Details
  • Foam does the first pass of cleaning. Car wash soap turns into high-volume foam that loosens the dirt, grime, and abrasion particles sitting on the exterior. With that mess lifted before you scrub with a mitt or brush, swirling and the risk of scratching both drop.
  • A chemical injection knob controls the output. Dial the amount of foam the cannon creates up or down, and switch between vertical and horizontal spray patterns.
  • Two orifices come attached. The standard 1.25 mm orifice is joined by a 1.1 mm orifice made for lower-flowing pressure washers. They do not cover the full rated range: a higher-flow, lower-pressure machine may need a larger orifice, such as a size 5.0 for a 2,000 PSI, 3.5 GPM pressure washer. An orifice that is too small makes the cannon start and stop as the unloader cycles in and out of bypass, and the foam comes out watery. MTM foam cannons do not work with flow-sensing unloaders.
  • The tank is ergonomically shaped for grip. Compared with past models it is easier to hold and less likely to drop, and its light weight keeps the cannon mobile around the vehicle.
  • A replaceable filter keeps grit out of the soap stream.
• For Best Results
  1. Pour 2-3 ounces of high-foaming soap into the bottle, then top the rest off with water. Any of the Highly Concentrated Exterior Car Wash Soaps are the recommended fill; Black Cherry Car Wash Soap With Wax is one high-foaming option.
  2. Attach the cannon to your pressure washer with the regulator set to a low-pressure setting for the initial installation, then bring the pressure up and foam the vehicle.
  3. Once the wash is done, run water without soap through the cannon to clear soap residue out of the spraying system.
