Red Away Red Stain Remover

• Description

  Red Away Red Stain Remover is made to lift red stains: wine, grape juice, fruit punch, Kool-Aid, soda and colas, jams and jellies, gelatin desserts, ketchup, and liquid medicine, as well as coffee. Red spills are hardest on light-colored fabric and carpet, and Red Away is designed to help bring those surfaces back toward their original color.

  For grease, oil, and tar spots rather than red stains, use Hot Shot Stain & Spot Lifter, a non-solvent pre-treatment sprayed before shampooing and extraction.

• Features & Details
  • Water-based formula. Red Away is water-based, biodegradable, and non-flammable, contains no phosphates, and is bleach-free.
  • In the vehicle and at home. It is made for vehicle interior carpet and fabric upholstery, and it is also used on sofas, clothing, and area rugs. Treat difficult stains early, before they set into individual fibers.
• For Best Results
  1. Test on a hidden area first. Run steps 2 to 4 on a small, out-of-sight patch of the same carpet or fabric, and check it for color change or heat damage from the iron before treating the stain, especially on suede or Alcantara.
  2. Rinse and blot. Rinse the stained area with water and blot it dry. Shake the bottle, spray Red Away onto the stain, and give it time to set in.
  3. Cover the stain and add heat. Lay a damp, 100% cotton towel over the stain. Set an iron to its lowest steam setting (higher settings increase the depth of the stain) and rest it on the towel without applying pressure.
  4. Transfer the stain. Let the iron boil around the edges, which usually takes about 30 seconds, then apply light pressure so the stain transfers to the towel.
  5. Repeat for tough stains, making sure the towel is damp every time.
