The Tornador Air Blow Out Tool (Z-014) is a pneumatic car cleaning air gun built to clear debris from interiors and dry engine bays after a wash, with a wider, higher-volume nozzle than a generic shop blow gun. It’s the finishing tool detailers reach for between vacuum and detail, when a microfiber or vacuum can’t reach into vents, seat seams, and engine-bay recesses.

This tool offers a much wider air dispense opening. Very powerful once connected to an air compressor hose. Set air pressure at the regulator at 60-90 psi. Wear appropriate ear and eye protection when using this tool.

Application guide
Interior blow-out workflow. Open all doors, trunk, and hood for cross-ventilation. Set the regulator to 75-90 PSI (start at 75 for cloth interiors; go up to 90 for heavily soiled carpets or engine bays). Work top-down: headliner vents, dash and console, door panels, seats, then carpets. Use short bursts at close range for embedded debris and longer sweeps at 4-6 inches for dust on flat surfaces. Follow with a vacuum to pick up what the Tornador kicked loose.
Engine bay drying after wash. After a foam-and-rinse on a warm engine, the Tornador pushes water out of spark plug wells, alternator housings, and around the intake manifold (areas a microfiber towel can’t reach without risking damage to hot or sensitive components). Set the regulator to 85-90 PSI, keep the tip 6+ inches from the engine, and work systematically from the back of the bay forward.

This machine works best with an air compressor capable of producing 5.2-5.4 CFM @ 90 PSI, and at air pressures set between 75-90 PSI Max.

The larger the tank, the better this tool performs. Treat 15 to 20 gallons as the smallest compressor worth pairing with it: below that, you lose the efficiency the tool is built for.

A leaf blower moves high volume at low pressure, which is fine for clearing loose debris from driveways, but it doesn't concentrate enough force to dislodge embedded dust from A/C vents or seat seams. The Tornador's narrow, high-pressure stream at 90 PSI reaches into spaces a leaf blower physically can't, and it's directional enough to target individual vents or stitching lines.

Yes, that's one of its most common professional uses. After a foam-and-rinse, the Tornador pushes water out of spark plug wells, alternator housings, and recessed areas where a towel can't reach. Keep the tip at least 6 inches from hot components and work with the engine off and cooling.

The tool ships with a standard 1/4" air inlet and ¼" Male NPT plug. You'll need to supply your own air compressor hose with a ¼" coupler, which are standard at any hardware store. The tool does not include an air compressor.
