Tar Remover

• Description

  Tar Remover is Detail King’s non-flammable, solvent-based compound for tar splatter. It breaks down tar and grime quickly, dissolving the sticky deposits that can harm paint, with nothing more than a bottle and a towel.

  This product is not permitted to ship by air, it must ship by ground. If this product is included with other items that you order and you request air shipping it will not be packaged with the rest of your order. You could be charged an additional shipping fee because it must be shipped separately due to it being sent ground.

  Please note this product is known as a Limited Quantity chemical through the PA Dept. of Transportation and is not allowed to ship USPS, please choose UPS.

• Features & Details
  • Where to use it: the lower body panels, fenders, wheel wells, and undercarriage, where tar spray builds up most.
• For Best Results
  1. Wash and dry the vehicle first. Tar comes off more easily the sooner you treat it.
  2. Test a small, inconspicuous area before treating the rest of the panel.
  3. Spray onto a clean microfiber or terry cloth towel, not directly onto the paint, to avoid wasted product and slippery drips.
  4. Rub over the tar and wipe until clean. Heavier stains may need more than one application.

  Do not apply in direct sunlight or to a hot surface, and do not let the product dry on the surface, which can cause staining.

  We offer Free or Flat Rate Shipping on MOST items on our website with a few exclusions. Free Shipping kicks in at a minimum order of $115 (for qualifying items), and for orders under $115, a flat rate of $11.95 will apply. Items that are classified as “oversized” by the shipping company do not qualify for free shipping, and anything that must ship via Freight Truck will also not qualify for free shipping. These items include but are not limited to: Carpet Extractors, Water Containment Mats & Reclamation Systems, Pressure Washers, Water Tanks, and The Claw LED Light.
