Undercarriage Pressure Washer Attachment
-
The Undercarriage Pressure Washer Attachment is a low-profile, wheeled pressure-washer wand that lets you blast road salt, mud, grime, and fuel contaminants off the underside of a vehicle without crawling underneath it. You roll it under the car, pull the trigger, and four spray tips fan a 13” wide pattern across the chassis.
Highlight specs:
- 13” wide spray pattern
- (4) spray tips angled to cover the underside
- (2) 360° swivel casters for rolling under low-clearance vehicles
- (1) 13” straight extension shaft + (1) 13” 45° extension shaft
- Hot and cold water compatible
- 1,500 to 4,000 PSI rated pressure range
- Standard 1/4” quick-connect plug
Road salt, brine, brake dust, and mud collect beneath vehicles and can accelerate corrosion on frame rails, exhaust components, and brake lines. This four-tip undercarriage attachment reaches wheel wells and other areas a standard pressure-washer gun can miss, making it useful for winter maintenance, post-off-road cleanup, used-car preparation, and light-duty fleet care. For frequent commercial use, consider the Undercarriage Cleaner 2.0.
Is your pressure washer compatible
This attachment is rated for 1,500 to 4,000 PSI, hot or cold water, and uses a standard 1/4” quick-connect plug. Most consumer and commercial pressure washers fall inside that range:
- Detail King Commercial Wall Mount Electric Pressure Washer (1,500 or 2,000 PSI): compatible with both voltage variants
- Detail King DK2000 Mobile Pressure Washer with Tank (2,000 PSI): compatible
- Most homeowner electric units (1,500-2,500 PSI): compatible
- Gas units up to 4,000 PSI: compatible
If your washer outputs below 1,500 PSI you can still use it, but expect slower cleaning. Above 4,000 PSI is out of spec and risks damaging the attachment. Flow rate (GPM) affects coverage speed, not compatibility. Higher GPM moves debris faster, but the attachment works with any flow inside the PSI rating.

Yes, and in salt or coastal climates it protects the vehicle. A pressure washer clears road salt, brine, and mud that corrode frame rails, brake lines, and exhaust. Keep the wand moving and avoid blasting directly into electrical connectors or sealed bearings at point-blank range.
-
For anyone in a rust-belt or coastal region, yes. Frame corrosion is what kills resale value on an otherwise clean car, and salt removal is the single best defense. This attachment clears the underside in a few passes per side, reaching wheel wells and the differential a trigger gun misses.
-
If your unit outputs 1,500 to 4,000 PSI and uses a standard 1/4" quick-connect plug, yes. That covers almost every consumer electric washer (1,500 to 2,500 PSI), most commercial units, and gas washers up to 4,000 PSI. Hot or cold water both work. Below 1,500 PSI still works but cleans slower.
-
In salt or coastal climates, every 2 to 4 weeks through winter and after any drive on freshly salted roads. In dry climates, monthly for daily drivers or after off-road use. Used-car flippers should run it every prep, since buyers check the underside first.
-
Trucks, cars, SUVs, and most light trailers with enough clearance to roll the 13" head underneath. The swivel casters and dual extension shafts (straight and 45°) reach wheel wells, differentials, and frame rails. Very low sports cars may lack room; the commercial Undercarriage Cleaner 2.0 sits lower.
