Having been in the Automotive Industry for over 30 years in one capacity or another, it is rare you find an organization 100% dedicated to their specialty. Coming from a large New Car Dealer Group, I was limited to where we purchased our detail supplies. When we opened Murrysville Auto Sales in October of 2017, one of the first calls I made was to Nick Vacco. I scheduled a time to meet personally with Nick and his team to go over all the products in the Detail King line. To say I was impressed is an understatement. Detail King has taken many of the Core Detail Products I used when I was 18 years old and improved them in ways I didn’t even know need improving.
A couple of our go to products are Blue Diamond Premium Polish & Sealant-Use this on almost every vehicle we touch, Diamond Cut High Performance Paint Leveling Compound (Step 1) and Diamond Cut ULTRA High Performance Paint Leveling Compound (Step 1) – for the more serious paint issues. We use the PURE FINISH on the Dark Color vehicles to really bring out a deeper shine and then finish off everything we sell with a coat of Cherry Wet Wax. Specializing in vehicles under $15,000, with many under the $10k price, our customers can not believe the quality of the finish left behind. More often than not, they are asking what we used to get the vehicle looking that good.
After we clean the Interior and Engine Bay, we dress them up with Shine On Non Silicone Vinyl and Rubber Dressing and use an Air Hose to make sure we get all the nooks and crannies looking smooth. This leaves a high quality looking finish without the ultra high gloss that leave it looking like you have something to hide. We finish off every vehicle with Super Blue Tire Dressing letting the “Wet Look” finish shine. We also get all of our DA Pads, Clay Bars, Brushes and man other miscellaneous equipment and consumables from Detail King.
