First time dealing with Detail King! I got set up with Jason Fung and what a great experience! I first ordered a start up package and I tweeked it to what I thought I would need. Jason was great as I’m new to this business he met my needs and didn’t pressure me into something I didn’t think I needed even though now he probably was thinking I should have gotten more. LOL as I did put in my second order a week later. All around great experience!

Starting with the fact that I have not written but two reviews in my life including this one, I hope speaks to the level of appreciation I have for this company’s service. I am only a year into auto detailing and have never dealt with Detail King but always stay in tune with their current items and methods – this past week my MYTEE 8070 pump was shot and I have weeks of work lined up for heavy duty interior and “COVID germ removal” that I really needed the extractor for.

I could not find a pump with a decent delivery anywhere including Detail King that only listed “free shipping” and I had no idea how long that would take however I saw that Detail King was selling the extractor with two day air shipping meaning I could get it almost instantly. Instead of trying to replace a pump I went ahead and ordered a brand new working machine for my blood pressure’s sake. I ordered on a Friday and by 7p.m. Monday night I had not heard anything about my extractor so I called the 1-888 number to inquire about the order. A person answered my call and in short explained that I wouldn’t get the extractor for at least three weeks due to a backup at the factory.

I of course was not the most pleasant person and the gentlemen was very apologetic for the misunderstanding and began to immediately issue me a refund at my request. After getting off the phone and debating for a bit I thought that maybe these guys could get me a pump instead of a whole machine – but I needed it now not in a week or two. I called back to the 1-888 number and was very shocked to get the same person I had talked to before – I was prepared for a 30 minute discussion on what had just happened like any other company would.

I asked the gentlemen about getting me a pump and he promised me the pump in 2 days despite it not being the standard option for the item. As it turned out I had been speaking to Nick Vacco the CEO/founder of Detail King the entire time. This threw me for a loop and also earned a lot of respect from myself, he was very ready to do whatever he could to get me, the customer, what I needed. The pump showed up precisely on time and was installed with ease to provide me with a fully functioning MYTEE 8070. 

I was extremely skeptical that all of this would work out the way I needed it to, but an extremely large thank you to Nick and his team for staying true to their word and doing everything they could for me. In the end I got exactly what I need when I needed it for a lot less money and even more than that I do not have to postpone any work or jeopardize quality of work for a failed machine. Thanks again everyone at Detail King and even though this has been my only order to date – you can be assured that it will not be my last. A stand up company with a stand up CEO.

I ordered the Flex 3401 5.5 inch backing plate on 4/28 from Detail King and everyone was on back order status. DK said they had a shipment arriving this Friday 5/1. DK called me 4/29 stating my order was on back order and it’ll take a week. To my surprise, it arrived 5/1!!!!! Excellent company to service your detailing needs. Customer for life and will refer them to all my friends!!!

When I called, Jason Fung answered, and was very helpful in answering questions I had re: different foam pads to use for a special project involving buffing a stone sealer to turn it from a dull, semi-opaque to a clear, high gloss finish, and he stated he had no experience with something like that, yet was still helped guide me on the best selections to try. My order arrived perfectly 2 days later. Great assistance, and I will definitely come back for future needs.
